ANNE LANNAN Co-Founder and Marketing Director
A successful career in the newspaper industry has provided Anne Lannan with a wealth of experience. The past 25 years have been spent at the Ontario Community Newspapers Association, a $6 million non-profit organization which serves as the liaison between Ontario’s 300+ community newspapers and readers/advertisers. Serving as Executive Director for the last seven years, Anne’s leadership skills and experience as both a trained journalist/photographer and advertising professional have brought results. Responsible for the industry’s national advertising rep house for the community newspaper industry, she worked with advertising agencies and direct clients to plan and execute campaigns across multiple platforms. Anne earned her Certified Association Executive (cae) designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives in 2007. She has been honoured with a Silver Quill Award as well as the President’s Award in 2015 from the Canadian Community Newspapers Association. As a proud parent to a young adult with Down Syndrome, she has been heavily involved in the Special Olympics in Sarnia, serving on the Community Council, Swim Team Co-Manager and a Community Coach; yet finds time to hit the golf course. Anne has spent more than 35 years in the newspaper industry, sharing her knowledge and experience with businesses in Ontario. Working with Dragonfly Media’s clients to help them develop their marketing strategies and realize new possibilities with new technology is what motivates Anne.
